[Raising funds for Walton Village Hall]
We are an active village but often don’t have the occasion to come together and find out more about what is happening. With this in mind, we thought we would organise a cream tea event where, weather permitting, we can sit outside or in and just chat while enjoying scones with jam and cream. This will be held on Sunday 20th August at the village hall, from 3-5 at £5 per tea. [We would be very grateful if anyone can make us a few scones]. It would also be useful if we had an idea of numbers so if possible, please let me (Sandra) know on 446211 or Liz on 210236 but please don’t be put off if you haven’t let us know. We would love to see you.
